suzEQ is a Campbell River-based DJ serving up groove-heavy, soul-soaked house journeys that move the body and lift the vibe.
Born in the prairies and raised on folk roots with hip hop shaping her rhythm, her sound evolved through years living in London and Vancouver — soaking up live acts fueled that contagious underground energy and releases. Fueled by movement, bounce, conscious lyrics and the power of rhythm to shake things out, suzEQ blends funk, disco, deep house, afro/progressive/organic house and worldly bass-driven genres into her sets for energy, warmth, depth, ignition and pure feeling.
After leading her first Campbell River Dance Temple in October, she’s back to guide us in flow and movement, while helping us remember that we already have everything inside us required to let go into this year’s flow. Are you ready? Let’s go...
