Family Connections; Parent Support Group B

Structured bi-weekly to enable parent teams to each participate alternate weeks. Signup for either Group A or Group B. Each group attends 5 sessions. Pick your start date, either March 15 or March 22, Wednesdays 7 - 8 pm. Potluck and wrapup, May 17th, 5:00 - 8:00 pm. 

The final week both groups will come together with children. Wrap meeting highlighting takeaways and insights while children play (childcare arranged for activities in the hall while parents meet).

Conscious parenting is about becoming mindful of your behaviour and engaging with your child as an individual. In the book, The Conscious Parent, Dr Tsabary inspires parents to get back in touch with their emotions and shed the layers of baggage they have inherited during their own life and are unconsciously heaping on their children. As they become 'conscious' in their parenting, so parents can transform their relationship with their offspring and raise happy, well-adjusted children. Oprah described the book as 'The most profound book on parenting I've ever read' and Eckhart Tolle has said 'becoming a conscious parent is the greatest gift you can give your child.' The book features a foreword by His Holiness The Dalai Lama.
