About the Event
Ever wish you could stop being an adult for a minute and just play... get out of the rut of the every day and maybe even pretend to be someone else for a little while?
It has been said that, "acting is real life in imaginary circumstances". In metaphysics we know that, 'it's ALL imaginary circumstances'. We also know that "our thoughts create our reality". So, how about we open up to some bigger ideas of who and what it is possible to be, move our bodies, laugh our heads off and just express in whatever way wants to surface - safely, joyfully, in an atmosphere of support and acceptance?
Wear clothing that is comfortable and easy to move around in. Layers are a good idea, as activities may alternate between very active and more still, so your body temperature will likely not remain constant. The classes aspire to be welcoming spaces, but are geared to adults, and possibly teens, rather than youngsters. Please let us know in advance if you have any special needs for us to take into consideration. No prior theatrical experience is required.
