I want to say, "Yes" but ...

You know those times when someone asks you to do something and you really want to say yes? OR, maybe you just think you should say yes? Is some little part of you thinking, “Mmm… ” ???

I’ve been playing with the idea of a 'full body yes'; noticing the times when I have moved to agreement without checking in with myself first, and found that the decision hasn't sat quite right. That feeling tends to indicate that my head is still trying to figure the situation out while my gut is quietly saying, "No".

Head, heart and gut what if we ensured that they were all in alignment when we made decisions? I’m discovering that when I actually listen to all parts of myself and respond from a place of connection, things have a funny way of working out better for everyone even when the answer is, "No".
