Rest? Who Has Time?

"Oh, I can push through! I can fit it all in and make it all happen. I'll rest later." Sound familiar?
What happens when our bodies start objecting? "Well, that’s just inconvenient... I've got things to do!" Here's the question that begs asking in such situations: "What am I proving, and at what expense? "
There is a point at which what we once thought of as determination becomes nothing more than an unwillingness to listen. At that point, “I can do this” needs to become, “I’ve done enough.”
The question then is, "Can I let that be a choice I feel good about? Am I able to make that choice with no guilt and no sense of having to earn my rest by completely wearing myself out first?"
This week in my vlog, I am talking about paying attention to the body we are asking to carry us through all those things we want to do. Mine had a few things to say, recently. (UGH!)
Join me as I share what I discovered, won’t ya?
