I have a confession: Deep down, I still catch myself believing that life would run so much more smoothly if everyone would simply do things my way. (Go ahead... you can laugh. Or, maybe you'd like to admit that you have also thought the same thing?)
In my experience, these kinds of thoughts highlight one of the trickiest parts about being human. That is, we spend so much energy trying to change everyone else, while we simultaneously overlook the one place where we actually have any real influence. (Guess where that place is... ).
